How we handle your details
This notice covers the BusiMDM website and its request form. It does not cover the BusiMDM product, which is governed by your agreement with us.
Who we are
BusiMDM is a product of Busitrade Ltd, a company registered in the United Kingdom. Busitrade Ltd is the controller of the personal data described here.
What we collect
When you use the request form we collect what you enter: your name, work email address, organisation, role, phone number if you give one, the size and platforms of your device estate, what you're asking for, what you use today and any message you add.
Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs, which include IP addresses and request details, for security and reliability. We do not set cookies and we do not use analytics or advertising trackers.
Why we use it
- To reply to your request and, if you ask for one, to prepare a quote or arrange a walkthrough.
- To handle a security report responsibly and keep you informed.
- To keep the website secure and available.
Our lawful basis is your consent for the request form, which you give by ticking the box before sending, and our legitimate interest in running a secure website for server logs. We will not add you to a marketing list without asking you separately.
Who we share it with
The form is delivered to us by a form-handling service, and the website is served by a hosting provider. Both act on our instructions as processors. We do not sell personal data or share it with anyone else, unless the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry details for 12 months after our last contact with you, then delete them. If you become a customer, your details move to our customer records and are kept under that agreement.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, object to our processing, or withdraw consent at any time. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
