Questions people ask before they buy
How is BusiMDM licensed?
Per managed device, per month. A device is anything enrolled: a PC, Mac, phone or tablet. Retired devices stop counting at the end of the month they leave.
Is there a minimum number of devices?
No. Volume pricing applies as your estate grows, and we'll show the bands in your quote so you know what the next step costs.
Can we pilot first?
Yes. We recommend starting with one or two sites and a mix of platforms. Ask for pilot terms in the form and we'll include them in the quote.
We're on Microsoft Intune today. Can we move?
Yes. Each device is managed by one MDM at a time, but your estate can be split across both while you move site by site. Windows PCs stay joined to your domain and keep their Group Policy throughout.
Do you support personally owned devices (BYOD)?
No. BusiMDM manages company-owned devices only. That focus is deliberate. It is what makes access control and remote lock or wipe dependable, and it keeps you clear of the awkward questions that come with managing staff's own phones.
What does support cover?
Essentials includes email support during UK business hours. Professional adds a priority queue. Enterprise adds a named engineer and service levels agreed in your contract.
Where is our data hosted?
The cloud part of BusiMDM runs on AWS in a single UK or EU region, and device data stays there. The part that approves changes and reads recovery keys runs on your own network.
Do you charge for the on-premises Authority?
The Authority is part of the product. It runs on a server or virtual machine you already have, and we set it up with you during onboarding.
